Tony was doing yard work in his backyard and he noticed there was a big piece of broken concrete that rolled down the hill behind his fence. He looked around but couldn’t find anyone to help him, so he decided to move the concrete slab by himself. Although it was extremely heavy, Tony forced himself to carry it to his truck so he could dispose of it.
“I was just relieved that I was able to get rid of it, not knowing I had done damage to myself.”
The next day Tony started to get severe sinus headaches. His neck swelled up and began having bad pains throughout his body.
“As soon as I started feeling those aches I began to declare my healing in the powerful name of Jesus.”
Tony, still believing for healing, decided to go to the doctors since his neck was still swollen and it was beginning to effect his tasks at his job- regardless of the anti-inflammatories he was taking.
“When I went to the Doctors, after a few tests he looked at me in disbelief. He told me that my blood vessel burst below my ear and kept telling me again and again that I should be dead because of the amount of internal bleeding that took place.”
The doctor immediately performed an ultrasound and a CT scan. The doctor then discovered that Tony had no open blood vessel, just all the effects from one. It made no logical sense. The doctor had no idea what to do, he put him on antibiotics for swelling and told him that he had never heard or seen anything like this.
“I just gave all the glory to God I told the doctor He healed me, and I had been praying over my body since the pain started.”
After the following weeks passed, Tony began showing improvement. The headaches and body aches began to lessen and soon disappear. The swelling dwindled down to normal, and now it as if the incident never occurred.
“I went in for my follow-up appointment, and the doctor pulled me into his office and wanted to talk to me about the God who healed me. I began telling him about my journey as a Christian and Jesus Christ. I know I was able to plant a seed that day in that doctor’s heart.”
When we share what God has done in our lives we are giving thanks to Him for what He did and is doing in ours.
When we make His wonderful work known we allow our experiences with Jesus to encourage and influence others.
No one stays the same when they encounter Jesus, and when we reflect on where we have come from and where we are going our faith only strengthens.
