Mission Statement

"The Inland Empire shall be saved!"

The Rock Church and World Outreach Center is built on the foundation of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, the Savior and Lord over all creation.

We exist as a church to bring His culture of love, acceptance and forgiveness to the Inland Empire, our nation, and the world.

We have a passion to see unbelievers become believers daily and to communicate the Word of God in a transparent and relevant way.

It is our desire to assist in helping and serving the family of God to mature spiritually and become fathers to the fatherless.

We are building a prevailing church that reaches into the next generation, changing the spiritual, social, and economic climate of our community through God’s Word and His deeds.

Therefore, as distributors of God’s goodness and kingdom resources, through faith-filled servanthood we believe we will see our vision fulfilled, "The Inland Empire shall be saved!"

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His high priestly ministry, and His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that man is sinful by nature, that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for salvation, and that salvation is a free gift of God’s grace received by personal faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the resurrection of the saved and of the lost; of the saved, into everlasting life and fellowship with God, and of the lost, to eternal conscious judgment and separation from God.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is sealed until the day of redemption, and by whose filling, the believer is empowered to live a godly life.
  • We believe that because all power and authority in heaven and on earth has been given to the Lord Jesus Christ, He has sovereignly directed His church (the Body of Christ) to evangelize (preach His gospel of Good News) and edify (make disciples of) people of every nation. It is therefore the work of every member of the body of Christ to carry out this great commission.
  • We believe that the Love of God is the greatest force in the universe, because God is Love and His Love never fails. As the church learns to speak the truth in His Love, build itself up in the Love of God, and walk in the sanctified life of Christ in the Love of God, people will be drawn to Jesus Christ. It is the "loving kindness" of the Lord that brings men to repentance.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Seven Pillars of The Rock

God has placed into The Rock Church and World Outreach Center a specific DNA to minister as the local church here in the Inland Empire, and as a world outreach center. From this DNA He has formed seven pillars within us to minister His heart and His love.

Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; — Proverbs 9:1

Pillar One – The Wells of Salvation

Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. — Isaiah 12:3

God has blessed us with powerful altar calls producing thousands of new disciples for Jesus Christ. So, every time the word is preached we passionately present Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior to those that willingly give Him all their heart and all their life.

Pillar Two – Spiritual Personal Trainers

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. — Psalm 68:5

SPT’s, both male and female, become fathers-to-the fatherless to help new disciples get started living their lives for Jesus Christ.

Pillar Three – Godly Relationships

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, — Acts 2:46

Godly relationships are vital to the health of our church family. We are committed to provide multiple opportunities to connect people to Jesus Christ and each other through small groups, events and various activities.

Pillar Four – Good Works

For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in. — Matthew 25:35

Understanding the goodness and love of God we believe that! His goodness put to work ministers His heart to the world around us in need of God. Feeding, clothing and caring for people are a major part of who we are!

Pillar Five – World Missions

Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. — Psalm 2:8

We believe in reaching the nations for Jesus Christ. As a world outreach center we are compelled to support the work of missionaries and to send out ministers to reap the harvest worldwide.

Pillar Six – Leadership Training

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. — 2 Timothy 2:15

Training the next generation today is not only serious business it is the heart of God. Like arrows, we are training up new leaders shooting them out farther than ourselves. Leadership training is key to our growth and the kingdom of God.

Pillar Seven – Planting Churches

Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. — Isaiah 12:3
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:18-19

Planting churches with our DNA means that we continue to reach lives with the love of Jesus Christ using the next generation of leaders to complete the call of God in our lives.
